"It was observed that technicians and workers choose to come to such isolated townships to obtain a better quality of life, education and healthy environment. Interconnected housing of different status encourages social interactions. To achieve maximum variety and economy of scale, the basic concept of unit plan was devised along with an economical structural system. The township also provides vocational guidance and small centres for the unemployed members of the family. Due to the site topography, the town has water channels and rainwater tanks located along the various public centres of recreation. Similarly, rain water harvesting for the surroundings keep the entire township green."
